Bringing Carbskin Black to Life: A Cinematic Launch for Unihoc's Lightest Stick

About the Project
For the launch of Carbskin Black, Unihoc’s first all-black edition of its popular CARBSKIN stick, we built a fully CGI hero animation that turns the engineering story into a visual one. The film opens on the raw material: two carbon fiber sheets braiding together to form the signature CARBSKIN weave, the construction behind the stick’s stability and rebound. From there the weave takes shape around an invisible shaft, gradually becoming the product itself.
The middle of the film flexes the finished stick to show off its balance and rebound, then pans down to introduce the new Ice Black blade for the UniLite, a color Unihoc had never released before. The piece closes on a clean logo reveal for both Carbskin Black and Unihoc.
We delivered the hero film in both landscape and portrait formats to support web, paid social, and in-store screens, with original sound design timed to the shot transitions. From the same master we cut seven shorter snippets, each isolating one beat of the story (the weave forming, the stick taking shape, the blade reveal, the flex) so Unihoc’s marketing team has flexible assets for product pages and social feeds without needing a separate edit for each platform.
